THE SOUND OF MUSICK [sic!]

Debut feature film (Anti-Musical) directed by Peter Kutin & Florian Kindlinger
~90 min, to be finished in 2025
Produced by AZ productions (Klara Pollack)

Synopsis :
The hills of Salzburg no longer sing. Once alive with the sound of music, the city now lies buried in snow, consumed by a strange, dissonant noise that seeps through the woods. Time itself seems frozen. Amidst this endless winter, Wolfgang—a once-celebrated composer—seeks escape from his spiraling depression and his feverish nightmares. He turns to an enigmatic psychiatrist known only as The General, whose unconventional therapy plunges Wolfgang into a journey through fractured memories and inner turmoil. Is healing still possible in a place where harmony has vanished?

Conceptualised as an anti-musical, the film becomes a meditation on collective memory and inner dissonance. An unflinching portrait of a society haunted by unresolvable echoes.
Featuring an all-artist cast that is drawn entirely from the heart of the international experimental music scene, the directors coined the term Noisical.
